About Our School

OUR SCHOOL VISION & ETHOS

At Baldivis Primary School education is about children becoming lifelong learners. Our future lies in our children and we focus on the whole child and on giving them the skills so they can take their place in a global community.

At Baldivis Primary School we are committed to creating a caring, safe, positive teaching & learning environment for everyone. We focus on giving our students the opportunity to grow academically, physically, socially and emotionally with a strong focus on mental well-being. We challenge our students to strive to the best they can be, giving them opportunities to shine and demonstrate their strengths.

The school ethos of ‘we care’ is embedded in the values of the school. The emotional well-being of our students is a priority amongst all staff. We incorporate a mindfulness program to support our students’ emotional growth and we model the “We Care” philosophy in everything we do. Baldivis Primary School is committed to ongoing learning in a co-operative learning environment. Our educational program is structured to ensure that we provide a supportive and caring environment that enables the development of the whole person towards their full potential. Students will leave Baldivis as confident, responsible, independent individuals who are able to contribute positively to society.

The school motto is “We Care”.

Our belief is that we need to develop a broad range of skills to prepare our students for life. We believe that the following are essential:

    Lifelong learners
Able to communicate in different languages
    Good Digital Citizens
    Cognitively prepared for complex tasks
    Politically, culturally and socially aware

The focus is on providing learning opportunities that will allow students to achieve their potential. This is done in a caring environment that respects the rights of all members and recognises that children are our prime consideration.

"BALDIVIS PRIMARY SCHOOL OFFERS ALL CHILDREN THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE SUCCESSFUL, VALUED AND CARED FOR."
